Coffee cup, dated 1752, with initials T.D. beneath a Dutch coronet
Coffee cup, dated 1752 with initials TD beneath a gold cypher and Dutch coronet. The reverse with Meissen-style gilding and a scenic cartouche under the handle. Almost certainly commemorating a Dutch marriage.
With label from the Geoffrey Godden collection, and also a commemorative exhibition label from the English Ceramic Circle.
